What does Memorabit mean?

"He/she/it will remember"
The name comes from Latin — memorabit is the third person singular future tense of memorare, meaning "to remember." It's a promise embedded in the name itself: you will remember.
Memora + bit
But there's more to it. The word naturally splits into memora (remember) and bit — a perfect coincidence that captures exactly what we do. We help you remember through small bits of knowledge. Simple, direct, and timeless.
How it started
Memorabit was built around a simple idea: do one thing, and do it well.
Inspired by the Unix philosophy, we focused on a single, essential goal — helping people remember what they learn. No feature overload, no unnecessary complexity, just a clear and intentional approach to learning.
We didn't build Memorabit for anyone else — we built it for ourselves. When it proved incredibly effective, we shared it with friends, and it quickly grew beyond what we expected. That's how a simple personal tool became the start of a company that's still growing.
